Payment methods overview

The Pismo platform supports a wide range of payment methods, which fall into two major categories.

• Card network operations are operations that involve card networks such as Visa. Card network operations are covered in the Card issuing section of the guides.
• Platform operations are operations such as bank transfers and payments that don’t involve card networks. Platform operations are covered in this section of the guides. The Payment methods API is the enhanced application interface for managing platform operations.
