- Create credit and debit card products, including defining interest rates
- Configure settings that apply across programs, such as fee models, flex controls, and processing codes
- Create and manage banking products, specifically savings and time deposit products
- Administer your customers’ accounts, including reissuing their cards
- Manage user access, such as creating users and assigning roles and permissions
Get access
To begin using Control Center, contact your Control Center administrator, who is the person or group in your company with permission to perform administrative tasks. They'll create your account.
Sign on
Once your account is created, you will get two email messages from Pismo Control Center with instructions for getting signed on.
- One email contains a welcome message with a link to sign on, your username, and a temporary password.
- The other email contains a verification code.
To sign on the first time, do the following:
- In the welcome email, select the link labeled Sign on to Control Center.
- On the sign-on screen, enter your username from the welcome email.
- On the next sign-on screen, enter the temporary password from the welcome email.
- Next, enter the temporary password (in the Current Password field) and create a new password. For information about creating a secure password, refer to Best practices for Control Center passwords.
- Next, enter the verification code from the other email to complete the registration process and start using Control Center.
Going forward, if you ever forget your password or need to reset it, select Forgot password and go through the password reset steps.
What if I don't get the sign-on instruction emails?
If you don't get the sign-on instruction emails, use the following process:
- From the sign-on screen, select Forgot Password.
- You'll receive an email with a recovery code.
- On the sign-on screen, enter the recovery code, create a new password, and save your changes.
- You'll be prompted on the sign-on screen to enter a verification code. Select Didn't receive an email? Resend.
- You'll receive an email with the subject line Your Pismo Control Center verification code. Enter the code from the email on the sign-on screen.
- For added security, you must enter a one-time passcode (OTP). On the sign-on screen, select where you want the passcode sent.
- Enter the passcode you received to complete authentication and sign on.
If this process doesn't work, contact your Control Center administrator to resend the instruction emails.
In the rare case neither process works, open a service request with the Pismo Service Desk.
What if my company uses single sign-on (SSO)
SSO is only available to customers who have purchased it. Contact your Pismo representative for more information.
If your company uses SSO for Control Center, use the Control Center URL to sign on. Your email is your Control Center username.
After signing on, if your screen displays a message indicating that you don't have a role assigned, contact your Control Center administrator for assistance. After they assign your role, the next time you sign on you will have the correct permissions and access.
Update your multi-factor authentication (MFA) method
Control Center keeps your data safe with multi-factor authentication (MFA). MFA adds an extra layer of security by confirming your identity with more than one type of proof, such as a code on your phone or a fingerprint.
When you first sign on, you’re already set up with email verification as your MFA method. For stronger protection, Pismo recommends adding a passkey, an authenticator app, or both. Once you’ve added these more secure options, remove email verification from your authentication list.
For step-by-step instructions, refer to Add additional methods for multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Use a compatible web browser
When using Control Center, use a Chromium-based web browser, such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera. Pismo supports the most recent long-term support (LTS) releases of these browsers.
