Brazilian Central Bank resolution information

CMN Resolution 5,112 of December 21, 2023 and Law nº 14.690 from October 3, 2023

According to a Brazilian Central Bank resolution, any debt renegotiation that occurs after 1 January, 2024 may not have a sum of interest and fines higher than the original debt amount. This includes revolving interest charges and payment agreement interest.

In the Pismo platform, revolving credit and payment agreement configurations are fully customizable and can restrict the combination of rates and installments so that the amounts do not exceed what is allowed by law. The configuration is made in the issuer's system according to your business and analysis of risk of your portfolio.
