Supported browsers

Control Center supports the most recent long-term support (LTS) releases of Chromium-based web browsers, including Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera.

Registering your user ID

The first time that you log in, you must register your user ID. You do this using the email invitation that you receive from your Control Center administrator.

For security, the Pismo platform uses two-factor authentication (2FA) to manage user registrations. With 2FA, after entering your username and password, the platform sends a registration code to the email address linked to the login account.

You must enter this code to complete the user registration process and log in for the first time. Emailing the registration code requires that everyone logging in to use the application has their valid email address registered with Pismo. If the registered email address is inactive or invalid, the individual will be unable to access the authentication code and therefore will be unable to login to the platform.

You can change user email addresses using Control Center if you have the User manager role. For more information, see Access profiles and roles.

Password self-reset

The login screen for Control Center includes a Forgot password link to enable you to reset your own password.

To perform a password self-reset:

  1. Select the Forgot password link on the login screen.
  2. Enter the email address associated with your user account and then select Confirm.

📘

Select the link provided in the email message body to set a new password. Make sure that your correct email address is registered with Pismo. If the email address is incorrect or inactive, you won’t be able to receive the password reset email. If the registered address is for a mailing list, everyone on the mailing list will receive the emailed code.
